Restoring Lives: In-home counseling for children affected by Hurricane Katrina Children are suffering from the stress of the aftermath of the storm and the ongoing rebuilding efforts. For many families Katrina has not ended. Your support in this category will bring a counselor into the home of a child affected by the lingering issues of Hurricane Katrina.
Rebuilding Homes: Unmet needs of families affected by Hurricane Katrina. Families are contacting the Coalition office and other local agencies on unmet needs that include housing materials that include, sheet rock, insulation, roofing materials, studs, and plywood. Your support in this category assists the Coalition in partnering with local volunteers to maximize funds in rebuilding homes along the Mississippi gulf Coast.
