MISSION
The mission of the Jackson County Community Services Coalition is to be a positive influence in the lives we touch on a daily basis and to develop and implement programs to benefit children, youth, adults, senior citizens and community organizations along the Mississippi Gulf Coast in a timely, efficient and respectful manner.
OBJECTIVES
- Provide a voice for abused and neglected children and youth through the Court Appointed Special Advocate program (CASA).
- Partner with community groups, educational institutions and public agencies in an efficient manner to identify and address issues of local concern to community members.
- Provide meaningful mental health education and resources for community members.
- Educate community members on the dangers of underage drinking and illicit drug use in the 13 sectors.
- Assist individuals and families in accelerated recovery and addressing urgent needs in restoring lives from a natural disaster, and/or other crisis.
- Collect data through diverse programming to identify and target at-risk demographic groups along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
